The history of myself as a writer was when I struggled with reading and writing when I was young.  I went to tutoring and speech therapy starting towards the end of second grade all the way through fifth grade.  After fifth grade I got so much better and I was good to go for middle school so I didn’t go anymore.  During the middle school days I would have assistant English teachers and they were all my stage managers for all three of those years. They supported me so much by how to go  into better details and longer sentences with my drafts.  The main thing they taught was to not plagiarize and how to cite my sources.  Going into high school, I no longer needed help from assistant teachers but I still had help from my teachers and I eventually got better on my essays and drafts.  Going into VMI, I expect writing to be harder and more perfect.
