Reflective Tag: This conversation was helpful to me because it gave me a better idea of the relation between the business culture in Ecuador and the United States. Previously, I had little knowledge of the nature of business in other cultures. This led to my belief that there would be strong differences in the way business is conducted in each country. I was rather surprised when Raul helped me understand this is not the case. More than any other, this artifact relates to my first Wespeke conversation. More specifically, my first conversation provided me with experience that I was able to utilize during the preparation stage of this conversation. Each of my WeSpeke conversations were helpful in my ongoing process of overcoming language anxiety.
