Human immunodeficiency virus and aids in my opinion is the deadliest virus out there in the world. This virus is spread mainly through bodily fluids. This includes having sex vaginal and anal, oral sex has extremely low chances of ever receiving the virus. But another way that the virus is spread is using dirty needles for drugs or tattoos. The virus begins as Human immunodeficiency virus meaning it weakens your immune system attacking cd4 cells. As the cd4 cells are killed HIV then turns to AIDs when the cd4 cells reach below two hundred cells.

HIV originated in West Africa where men were hunting animals and came in contact with the virus in monkey meat. After they become infected with the virus it began to spread throughout all of Africa. Following, the disease began to slowly spread across the entire world as a whole. This virus is continuing to be a problem throughout all areas of the world because it is transmitted sexually and humans will have sex regardless of the environment or structure they live in. The overall effects that this virus had on society has been extremely tough on everyone. Loved one are becoming HIV positive it has no age it specifically goes after and once you become HIV positive you have this virus forever. This is particularly hard for people because there is no cure for this virus either so when you become HIV positive you will eventually get aids and then slowly die usually from a common cold because you have no cd4 cells.

 

In the past before people began to be educated about HIV were extremely rude to people with this disease they would shun them from schools or even work places. People through that it was transmitted person to person, not only by human bodily fluids. It is impossible to get this virus from just being around a person infected. People were thought of as lowlifes or disgusting who has this virus. But infact this is not the case at all. It happened to them by chances and it just so happened they are the ones who got this disease no matter how they received it. The people who contributed to this pandemic are the people who initially had the disease. Whether they knew they had it or did not and began to spread it. This virus can be spread extremely rapid if people are not being regularly tested and making sure their partners are doing the same.

 

Factor that limit the further spread of this disease are that its only spread by bodily fluids. So, if the people are being tested they will not spread the disease any further after they realize that are HIV positive. Also, spreading the virus by dirty needles may not be as easy as it sounds they can also be sterilized and there is a possibility they will not be infected from them.

 

The challenges that still remain for the entire world is that this virus is spreading daily getting bigger and bigger the known cases never goes down. This virus ends up killing you one day. So, the world is working extremely hard to find a cure. This is because it is uncurbable and could potentially end up spreading a great deal one day.
