Throughout history plagues have always been around mainly involved because of animals. Animals carry many of the deadliest counterparts of each fatal disease. For example, influenza is carried in pigs, poultry, and ducks. The plagues first came about whenever animals started to become domesticated by humans. When the animals were always around and human to animal contact was more of an occurrence than ever before in history. One of the first diseases to arise in history was the smallpox which is an extremely deadly disease. This specific disease is from cows and pigs.

 

Current Application:

Globalization increases infectious diseases significantly. This is because when people begin to travel around the world and move to different areas. They are then introduced to many new infectious diseases that they have never yet encountered. As well as the people moving from an area bringing an infectious disease and them spreading it to a new region because the home bodies are not used to this specific disease.

 

Climate change makes the spread of infectious disease extremely easy to spread as well as globalization. When the climate begins to change this makes the growth of bacteria very rapid. These bacteria then affect humans eventually making an infectious disease. This has been an extremely huge part in society even as of now. This is because global warming and other things are effecting the climate change more than ever.
