Interview Questions

Research Question:

Does my client use their digital identity to highlight certain aspects of their life which help them portray the different “masks” they want others to be able to see online?

Interview Questions:

What certain aspects of your life do you want to highlight through social media?

With your different social media outlets are there different “masks” in which you wish to portray in each one?

Do you feel like you portray a personality or persona online that is different than your offline persona?

Why do you present yourself on social media in the way that you do? Are your digital decisions conscious? For example do you post or present things for a certain reason?

Do you plan on adjusting your online persona, or your offline persona? Do you wish to adjust your offline persona to live up to what you portray in your digital identity?

How updated is your digital identity? Where have you stopped time?

  1. Drew, the research question nicely complements the overarching, guiding question on the assignment prompt. I like how you’ve narrowed your focus here. That will help you as you write the paper.

Work on asking more open-ended questions.

    Nice work here!
