This was the first of two papers I wrote for Aesthetics. For this paper I had some trouble figuring out exactly what each of the two philosopher’s actual views on art were, as I was very wary of attributing to them views they didn’t actually have. For this reason, this was one of the harder papers I had to write for this semester. Overall, I believe the paper does a good job of explaining both their views, the flaws and strengths, and which of the two I think is more correct.
