1. A lot of scholars speak really highly of getting an education and not being forced into the same jobs as their forefathers. Do you think that that itself could lead to a further increase of negative stereotypes concerning Appalachian culture?
2. Many careers that do not require a college education are frowned upon by people with higher education. Do you think there is anything to learn from those who willingly choose not to get a higher education to work the same elements as their forefathers?
