From Kantz’s writing, I have learned that it is important to make a claim and use your sources to support the claim you are making. Kantz describes a claim as a thesis or main point that a writer is trying to make. It is very important to draw from various sources to support your claims to try to turn that claim or opinion into fact. The writer needs to show and write about how the source functions and support their main argument within the paper. Kantz could beconveying that the writer uses supported and verified facts to try to make your claim credible and a piece of useable evidence.
