My name is Cameron Boxley and I am 17 years old. My home town is Montpelier, Virginia, and I have lived there my whole life up until coming to VMI. I went to high school at Patrick Henry, where I played lacrosse for three years. Some of my hobbies include snowboarding, hunting, and working on cars. When I can’t snowboard, I am either wake-boarding or long-boarding. As far as working on cars, I have a 1985 cj7 (jeep) that inevitably always needs work. If I am not working on my own jeep, I am helping my dad with the project we took on a few years ago, which is a 1960 cj5. It was my great grandfather’s jeep that was used on his farm.
I am an incoming rat with the class of ’20+3. My major is Mechanical Engineering and I am pursuing a commission in the Marine Corps. More specifically, I want to pursue aviation.
