Interpersonal Communication
The recording of the activity was apparently too large of a file to be uploaded to the eportfolio, however it is uploaded on canvas.
This is the immigration conversation activity and this I believe to be one of my better examples of my skill level in terms of speaking Spanish. I had little trouble pronouncing most words with the correct accent and the ones that I had had a little more trouble pronouncing were still understandable. I, along with a few other cadets did misunderstand the directions and pre-wrote my statements, but I did come up with most of it on the spot without deliberating, so I believe that the outcome would not be too different if I had just spoke without any visual aid. I believe I displayed intermediate mid level of interpersonal communication, because with the exception of a few vocab words I had to take time to remember, I was able to string together much of the phrases off the top of my head. I do believe that had I known not to use visual aid, I could have performed the conversation at an intermediate high level.
