This is the interpretive reading of the US Department of immigration video from IPA 2.

I found this IPA to be very representative of my overall ability to interpret written Spanish. Because it consisted of subtitles rather than just solid written Spanish like you would find in a book or article, it took a lot more skill to understand because there was no time really to deliberate or try to remember the definitions of the words and phrases utilized. Once again I was able to pick up on the main and supporting details with relative ease. I think I showed great improvement in my ability to analyze and identify the smaller phrases and words, scoring much better on this one than I did in interpretive listening. I believe that I actually displayed an intermediate high level of interpretive communication/ reading because it was extremely easy for me to pick up on main and supporting details and the few smaller phrases I missed were likely a result of focusing too much on trying to find some phrases in the text while not devoting enough attention to others.
