Frankenstein in Baghdad- Review
Frankenstein in Baghdad was a classic refreshing change to the typical Frankenstein story. While the story mirrors many of the themes of the novel, it is by no means a recreated story. The author of the book uses the widely known story of Frankenstein to bring light to the war torn country of Iraq and show the affects that the war is having on the country. Brining in ideas of the war into the novel offers the story depth and a much greater level of complexity. Everything from the plot to characters is different, making the story just as entertaining as it is enlightening.
