Shakespeare is truly one to be admired. Throughout doing this assignment, mine specifically on Othello, I have learned much about Shakespeare, the early Modern English period, and myself. Regarding Shakespeare, I’ve found new appreciation for his work after diving deep into precise topics and learning new things. Regarding the early Modern English period, I was able to build on my knowledge that I already had and advance my understanding of what life was truly like back then. It is quite astonishing to see where women are in our country today, looking at the past. Women are in every major career and setting now, but back then they were by law their husband’s property. Lastly, regarding myself, I learned if I put deep effort into understanding and formulating in depth thoughts about the topic I’m researching, I can produce quite I good assignment, which I believe I have with this essay.
