Activity one: Identifying Plagiarized Paraphrasing

The paraphrase is not well done and is not ethical in nature. This is because it is too close to the original in that only a few words are changed and the sent structure is the same. Also there is no source cited at the end. It could be improved in that the source could be reworded so the sentence is not an exact copy of the original, change the sentence structure, and to cite a source at the end of the paraphrase. The citation for this would be: (Kessler). There is no page number because it is an online source without stable page numbers.

 

In five states that held caucuses, the majority of the votes were won by Clinton. However, these votes were not counted in determining the voter gap between Clinton and Sanders. On the other side Sanders won a majority of the votes in one separate primary which decreased the gap between the two(Kessler).
