Objective 5: Creative Work

This particular assignment was centered around a multi-media painting that incorporated text within a painting for ERH-225-01 Visual Art Studio: Painting. When starting I was very stumped as to where to start and where to take my direction. I learned as an individual in terms of painting I am a very “act-on-the-moment” thinker, and when my idea came I acted accordingly. I threw paint directly on the canvas and worked immediately to build a stunning gradient for the landscape being the foreground and the background. Overall, the assignment for me showed that I can take nothing and turn it into something in the spur of the moment and grow it into a piece of art that I can be proud of.
