About Justin Addis

About Justin Addis: Greetings/ Hola, My name is Justin Addis, I am a 3rd at the Virginia Military Institute. I am originally from Puerto Rico and have been raised to speak English and Spanish. I currently live in Stafford, VA, and have had a great time growing up there. My favorite hobbies include playing Tennis, Xbox, and I love cooking and crafting new projects with anything I can find. I additionally love to go thrift shopping and finding new things to add to my collection. I currently am into Stocks and love finding new companies and startups that will take the world to bigger and better places all while making me some money. I am additionally an Eagle Scout and love getting involved in the community and my drive for adventure never ends.

As I move forward in life, I hope to be able to pursue my passion of wanting to become an IT Salesman for the government or a private company. My current plan is to finish my degree in English here at the Virginia Military Institute. After my time at the institute, I hope to contract into the U.S. Army as an officer and do Intelligence. I would request respectfully from the ARMY that they cover my schooling while I am in the service to enable me to receive my Master in Business (M.B.A.). After that, I would also like to earn my minor in either Computer Science or Cybersecurity. I know that after doing my schooling, I will owe time in the service and that is okay, If I enjoy my time,  I will continue my time as an officer, but if the offers outside the service seem nicer than my 20-year plan for the ARMY, that is okay too. Overall, I will be happy in or outside the service and know that my future with the U.S. ARMY is a bright one.
