The VMI Career and Internship Fair (VMICIF) will take place on Tuesday February 28th from 10AM-2PM. Here are a few common questions and answers that we hope you’ll use to get ready for the VMICIF!
Q: What do I need to do to go to the Career and Internship Fair?
A: Simply come over to Marshall Hall anytime between 10AM and 2PM to meet with employers,
Q: How can I find out which employers will be attending?
A: You can view the list of employers by visiting KeydetConnect. KeydetConnect has the most up to date information about employers attending the fair. You can visit that list here. If you don’t have a KeydetConnect account, you can register through this link.
Q: What should I bring with me to the VMICIF?
A: Bring your resume and a folder to carry your resumes and any notes.
Q: How much time does it take to attend the VMICIF?
A: The VMICIF is fast paced. It only takes a few minutes to speak with an employer. Check out the employers attending in advance to save time.
Q: Is there anything I need to do after the VMICIF?
A: Be sure to follow up on any instructions you received from employers. If an employer encourages you to email them, be sure to send the email to them as soon as possible.
Q: Is there anyone I can get advice from before the VMICIF?
A: Career Ambassadors will be in the office most of the day on 2/27. We’ll also be hosting a Prepare for the Career Fair workshop on Monday evening at 1945 in Carroll Hall 403.
